The show will be put on by Tony-award winning producer Jeffrey Seller, who has worked on Broadway hits like Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q and In the Heights, as well as his producing partner and former VP of development at NBC, Flody Suarez. The two recently signed a deal to produce new projects for Universal Television, but there is no confirmation whether this project will be part of that agreement.

Gay Artist C.L. Hause Announces An Art Show With His Works “DreamScape” (the art) And “Convergence” (the video) Starting June 7th 2017 In The Dumbo District Of Brooklyn New York
Award Winning Artist C.L. Hause will have a selection of his work on display at the Smack Mellon Gallery in the Dumbo District of Brooklyn, New York beginning June 7th as a part of the show "Commencement". The event is open to the public with the artist on site June 10th from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M.
Hause, who has recently been studying for his Master of Fine Arts Degree under the late Artist and Professor Vito Acconci (1940-2017), and best-selling Book Artist and President Professor Archie Rand (The 613), has used the guidance of his mentors to redevelop and take his work to a new extreme. Hause is a part of a group that was fortunate to benefit from the last year of instruction by legendary Acconci, who commented that Hause’s work was “onto something.”
C.L. Hause described the creating of his work saying: “DreamScape” (the art) and “Convergence” (the video) started with using subject matter, characters, and image sequences obtained from my own dreams and nightmares to create my own mythology that was based upon these images. I was being drawn from the light of reality into a darkness of myth. The DreamScape figures are portrayed in very homoerotic bondage styles and positions, while also incorporating inspiration from Avant-garde fashion designers like Alexander McQueen and Thierry Mugler to influence the design of various wardrobes that help develop the identity of each character. This was also done to add to the illusion that these characters are not everyday people you would meet on the street.”
In a review of Hause’s work, author and curator Heather Darcy Bhandari referred to his work as “Life-sized charcoal drawings of male figures are sexually charged beings, caught in a graphic white void. A simple read of bondage and homoeroticism … including a video that brings several of these characters to life. Mysticism pervades the film as hybrid humans occupy a space of fantasy, spirituality and a dark unknown.”
C.L. Hause has announced that several art pieces that are included in this show and new art inspired by his video “Convergence” will be included in an upcoming book of the same name. The book, which is the third solo release for Hause, will hit stores in the late summer of 2017. Hause will also be releasing art with author G.W. Mullins for future works later this year; they have already worked together on several best-selling book series.
